EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT

Richard Newark - CEO

Dick Newark leads Kinetic Traction Systems as Chief Executive Officer. Immediately prior to joining the company, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Pentadyne Power Corporation where he oversaw operations and scaled manufacturing to achieve high-volume production. During his tenure at Pentadyne, Dick increased production capacity over 300% from 2007-2010 and decreased Cost of Goods Sold by 50% in the same timeframe. In addition, he assisted in a 2008 investment fund-raising that yielded $22MM recapitalization, developed business processes, and implemented a customer service support function to support the company's flywheel customers.

In addition to his executive management roles, Dick has more than 30 years experience in engineering, operations and general management as well as particular expertise in turnaround situations including restructuring U.S. operations at Wolverine Advanced Materials. Prior to Wolverine, Dick managed operations in a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and ZF Friedrichshafen, AG. He also served as Chief Product Engineer and Shop Operations Director at Cummins Engine Company where he launched new products as well as implemented lean manufacturing systems.

Dick earned his MBA and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

Rudi Lautz - CFO

Rudi Lautz oversees all financial matters at Kinetic Traction Systems, Inc. as CFO. He brings more than 20 years finance and manufacturing experience. Rudi also has an extensive background in international business and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining KTSi, he held the position of Controller at Pentadyne Power Corporation. There, he successfully reduced inventory levels by 20% and the monthly closing cycle by 70%.

Earlier Rudi served as Sr. Director, Finance and Controller for Rolls-Royce Engine Services, a division of Rolls-Royce plc, where he played an instrumental part in achieving 100% company growth and improved operational efficiency as a Certified Six Sigma / Lean Green Belt. Rudi previously managed accounting functions, risk management and budget planning and forecasting for National Airmotive Corporation.

Rudi attended California State University, Hayward majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.
